Volunteers are our life blood

Volunteering your time to work at the Shell Houston Open can be a rewarding experience. You are helping the Houston Golf Association help others by donating a precious commodity -- your time.

Thanks to dedicated volunteers the Houston Golf Association has been able to generate more than $53.7 million for local charities since 1974. We appreciate the fact that volunteers are willing to help us in our stated mission of promoting golf for the benefit of local charity.

All tournament volunteers must be at least 21 years of age. When you agree to volunteer you must sign a standard waiver that indicates you are volunteering your time and are not a paid employee of the tournament, Houston Golf Association, Shell Oil Company or Redstone Golf Club.

You can register to volunteer on line and purchase a uniform with just a few mouse clicks. Or, you can download a form, print it and then fill it out.
